The poncho is big enough to wear over you backpack and cover every inch of you for protection against the rain and harsh weather environments. It is made of durable nylon fabric and the olive drab color just looks cool. Everytime I wear this I feel like Rambo in First Blood and the hood is useful too. Overall, perfect product. Exactly what I expected. Love it.

Heavy duty material. maybe even a little to heavy. I ordered two because most will tear eventually. I think I'll have these for some time to come! I do like the opening for the arms. The poncho is formed to the body more than the open sheet style I'm usually using. Overall a quality product. With very fast delivery.

I wouldn't ordinarily write a review for a poncho, but this was a ridiculous value at the price I paid--approximately 1/4 the price for an equivalent type. Quality is very good, heavy duty PVC with welded seams. Yeah, the Swiss camouflage pattern is a little weird (I would have preferred a solid color,) but get stuck outside even once in a cold, teeth-chattering downpour and thoughts of fashion go out the window.

What - where are all the other deals like this one???? High quality rain poncho for $6. It showed some use on the buttons but 100% functional. I have seen similar in retail outlets new for $40. Honest seller who could have been honest selling this for $20.

Don't leave home without it. Of all the pieces of U.S. military kit I've ever seen (through 20+ years of miltiary service), none equal the Wubbie for value for money, utility, and comfort. The original idea was a quilted, water resistant blanket that could be attached to a poncho (hence the bits of string on the corners and edges) to make a warm weather sleeping bag. Yes, I've actually heard of people doing this, but this is such a limited vision of what the Wubbie is capable of. Picnic blanket, quilt, bedspread, couch cover, used by itself as a sleeping back, in survival kits, for air travel, pet beds (with or without human consent) etc. I used to keep mine by the couch for siesta time, but it kept getting stolen. In Germany, soldiers would take an unlined rainjacket and a poncho liner to the tailor and get the best cold-wet weather jacket in the world back. If the camo is an issue, it is available in solid black and olive green, but I don't care about the appearance. My Wubbie is not for sale or trade. Get your own and keep your paws off mine!

I bought my first poncho liner in Vietnam in 1964. It was one of the old ones from back when they were made from parachute silk. Now, almost fifty years later, I'm still using it. I guess I'm a 65 year old man with a blankie! It's ragged and torn but still usable. I've since bought half a dozen of the newer poncho liners made from polyester and they're almost as good, though to be honest if I could find the silk ones I'd buy them. My wife and I have half a dozen of them now. We keep them in the bedroom and in the family room. We never go on a trip without them. I give them as gifts and everyone to whom I've given them loves them. Take the title of my review seriously. Every home should have half a dozen poncho liners.
